We all know AI has dramatically changed certain services, especially in areas like video production and content creation. Tasks that once took days can now be done faster and cheaper, which has forced agencies to rethink pricing and positioning.
But here’s the important part: AI hasn’t replaced strategy, relationships, or judgment. Clients still need someone to guide them, ask the right questions, and make sure the output actually connects with the right audience. AI is a tool, not a replacement for thinking.
In some agencies, traditional media buying roles are being replaced, not eliminated by AI manager roles. Teams aren’t shrinking; they’re shifting.
